日本国憲法の三大原則である「国民主権」「基本的人権」「平和主義」の尊重は、日本国民が守り育んでいかなければならない大前提です。芸術表現においても、この条件が礎となります。しかし今日この日本国憲法は、解釈の変更による運用や改正に向けた運動など、その存立が危ぶまれている現状に直面しています。芸術表現の立場から日本国憲法を透して、現代の日本社会の構造と個人の関係を考えることは、表現者一人一人が憲法と生活の密接な関係を意識し、日本社会に対する積極的な思考と関与の重要性を喚起するでしょう。第1 回目は、志田陽子氏、島本脩二氏、Shing02氏、柳幸典氏の4名を迎えて、我々が「生きる事」そして「表現すこと」を担保する憲法について対話を行います。

The sovereignty of the people, the fundamental rights of people and pacifism are the three basic principles of the Japanese constitution, as well as the cornerstone for artistic expression. The basis of these principles is meant to be protected by every Japanese citizen. However, currently in Japan, the constitutional law has been exercised with distorted interpretations and is at risk of being torn apart by government factions fighting for amendments. We believe that it is crucial to look through the perspective of the law itself with artistic expression to examine the relationship between individuals and today's social structure of Japan. In that way, not only does it remind expressionists of how closely our daily life is connected with those principles, but also deepens their thoughts on society. For the first round of discussions, we have invited scholar of constitutional law, Yoko Shida, editor, Shuji Shimamoto, MC/producer Shing02 and contemporary artist Yukinori Yanagi to share their opinions about life and expression in relation to constitutional law.

  憲法学者：志田陽子〈Constitutional Scholar〉Yoko Shida

  1961年生まれ。憲法学者。武蔵野美術大学 造形学部 教授。人権論を中心とした憲法の講義を行うと同時に、「表現の自由」や著作権法などを中心とした、表現活動にかかわる法の問題を扱い、法の問題をわかりやすく学ぶために魅力的な映画を紹介する授業・講座を行っている。主著『文化戦争と憲法理論――アイデンディティの相剋と模索』(2006年）、『新版 表現活動と法』(2009年 )、『映画で学ぶ憲法』（2014年）。

  Born in 1961, Shida is a professor of Law at Musashino Art University. Her main research focuses on constitutional issues revolving around cultural conflicts,　speech and art. In her courses, she uses movies, music and art as materials for an intelligible approach to law. She has published many books, such as, "Toward Freedom of Expression's Tomorrow, Ohtsuki-shoten (2019).

  編集者：島本脩二〈Editor〉Shuji Shimamoto

  1946年生まれ。フリー編集者。小学館で雑誌『週刊ポスト』『GORO』『写楽』『P.and』など７誌の部員、編集長を経て1990年より書籍編集。2007年定年退職。担当書籍に、矢沢永吉『成りあがり』『YMO 写真集OMIYAGE』『おきて』『月光浴』『初めての富士山』他多数。1982年に企画編集した『日本国憲法』はベストセラーになり、2013年6月に改装重版して現在110万部を超えている。2003 年～ 2017年、武蔵野美術大学で講座「編集とデザイン」を担当。

  Born in 1946, Shimamoto has been the editor of magazines such as "Shukan Post" ,"GORO" , "Sharaku" ," P.and" . Since 1990, he moved from magazines to editing books and retired in 2007. He has supervised dozens of books such as: Eikichi Yazawa's, "I love to be Big" , the photo album by YMO "OMIYAGE","Moonlight Blue" etc. In 1982, he published the "Japanese Constitution" which became a best-seller. From 2003-2017, he taught an editing and design course at Musashino Art University.

  MC/プロデューサー：Shing02〈MC/ Producer〉

  幼少をタンザニアとイギリスで過ごしたのち、カリフォルニアに移住、現在はハワイを拠点とし、環太平洋を拠点に活動するMC/プロデューサー。これまでに日本語アルバム「緑黄色人種」「400」「歪曲」「246911」を発表、英語アルバムはNujabesとの「Luv(sic)Hexalogy」, Chimp Beamsとの「ASDR」、Sauce81と「S8102」等をリリー スし、競演を重ねながら現代音楽としてのヒップホップを体現する。2015年には22分の大作「日本国憲法」もネットで公開した。

  Born in Tokyo and raised in Tanzania and England, Shing02 came up in the independent SF Bay Area scene in the mid '90s. Over the course of his independent career starting in 1995, he has collaborated with various DJs and musicians, most notably with the late Japanese producer Nujabes. Recently, he released an English album titled, "S8102" with Sauce81 and a Japanese album "246911" with SPIN MASTER A-1. In 2015, the 22-minute opus "Japanese Constitution" was released online.

  現代美術作家：柳幸典〈Artist〉Yukinori Yanagi

  1986 年より蟻を使った作品など、美術のシステムの外で＜移動＞を切り口に発表を開始。「第45回ヴェネチア・ビエンナーレ」（1993年）のアペルト部門で日本人初の受賞。以後ニューヨークにスタジオを構え、多くの国際展に招待され、「ホイットニー・バイアニュアル」（2000年）では、ニューヨーク在住の作家として外国人で初めて選ばれた。2008年、岡山県犬島で明治の近代産業遺産と昭和の三島由紀夫のメッセージを融合させた美術館「犬島精錬所美術館」を完成。2012年広島県尾道市の離島・百島の中学校廃校を拠点に「ART BASE 百島」を発足。

  Born in Fukuoka in 1959. In 1986, Yanagi began to exhibit artwork such that used ants and soil balls to represent dung beetle balls to address issues of "movement" from the perspective of an outsider of the art world's system. He moved to New York and started to work internationally after being awarded the Aperto Award at the 45th Venice Biennale in 1993. Yanagi's works were featured in numerous international exhibitions including the Whitney Biennial (U.S.A) in 2000. In 2008, he completed his long-term project, "Inujima Seirensho Art Museum" in Okayama. In 2012, he founded the ART BASE MOMOSHIMA, an art center located at a former junior high school building on a remote island MOMOSHIMA in Onomichi city.
